I voted other.  Have not looked through for a while, but Sea Shepherd ships (Steve Irwin, Bob Barker, Ady Gil, and Gojira) with original and current paint schemes would be cool.  Also, more fishing vessels, like those in Deadliest Catch, would be interesting.

oh, another ship type I'd like to see would possibly be military naval vessels...  aircraft carriers, battleships, cruisers, etc.

I can think of a few missions I would enjoy involving French military vessels and the sea shepherd vessels.

What about "Cap San Diego" - one of the most beautyful cargo ships ever. :captain:

Not unlike the "St. Essylt", South American Saint Line, 1948. London registered.

It's a shame that no-one builds beautiful ships anymore, but I guess square boxes are cheap and as anyone with any connection to the modern shipping industry knows, cheaper is better, always, without exception, ever.

VStep is a Dutch company, but I think they are trying to make the game appeal to a worldwide audience.

I agree about the old dutch sloops though, some of those were truly beautiful.

Offtopic...

My current (real) boat is the white one,
and i'm now looking for a one like the dark-blue one.

I like dutch sloops very well, because they are low-no bridges strubbling, and easy to move and economical in fuel. :P :P

Hi all  ;D

What ever happened with the RNLI vessel pack add-on which was spoken about ages ago, I did a search and found some details, but they seem to have stopped and woundered why?

I was wondering also, if there was a problem, have you concidered the Independent Lifeboats in the UK?
There are 63 in total dotted about, 9 are in the Solent Waters, these 9 carry out more tasks than their counter parts on a year to year basis and would be willing to help I am sure.

Take our Lifeboat for an example (Pictured below), its an ex-RNLI Atlantic 21 Inshore Lifeboat, we brought the vessel, so the vessel legaly is ours to do as we wish, weather thats allow permission for it to be turned into a modle, making sure everything the model has it down to the fine details that you see in the photo below (no RNLI reference at all), or to follow suit and say no to a model being made of it.

Now, if someone wants to make a model of our (SSILB) Atlantic 21, I am sure I can help out, as I have spent the last 2 years rebuilding her from scratch and can give all the details that will be needed to the correct person to make the model.

All we would ask is, that a small donation is given for downloading the Lifeboat towards our Independent Lifeboat service as a thanks before downloading the add-on.

Again, to make it very clear, this Lifeboat is owned by Sandown & Shanklin Independent Lifeboat and can be 100% that we would allow for a model to be made with an agreement in place.
We could even give refence of taskings for use in add-on missions if needed - but would have to change some details, which am sure you would understand, like vessel names etc.

Anyway, is an idea / offer if the right person wants to take the oppertunity.

Let me know via PM.

I voted for passenger vessel because I find that there are not enough cruise ships. The only one is the Orient Star and with the add-on there will be the MS Oceana. But there should also be some smaller cruise ships like the Azamara Journey! They can dock almost everywhere. :2thumbs:

I'm definatly liking the Idea of the Cap San Diego in SSE!
Also, i'd quite like the earthraace, not in her SS colours, but in her record breaking paintscheme!

As a offtopic point, one of the finnlines vessels has come up for sale, its on appollo duck
