Ferry with Bow Visor

All the major Caledonian MacBrayne vessels have them.

they would be hard to create though, and would require additional controls

:) Hi Folks, I have to say that I voted for more cargo ships, preferably of the "oldey worldey" steam reciprocating "tramp" variety, the kind which invariably carried several passengers. However, I would also favour traditional "three island" tankers too!

Some of the chaps in Canada favoured vessels from the Great Lakes region. I have to agree that there is something about the look of the traditional lakers, with the bridge right up forward, the machinery house back aft, and nothing but the cargo holds between.

Fair winds and tides to you all!

The Clyde would make an awesome environment, lots of little ferry ports, and I suppose we can only dream of a Waverly?

i agree entirely, although i would also like to see Oban in aswell. Oban has lots of little islands surrounding it such as mull, lismore, tiree, coll.

Aside from her sister ships the Olympic and Britannic, here are the list of ships I want, all of whom share a connection or alibi with the Titanic.

Ships present at Southhampton:
SS City of New York
Vulcan (tugboat)
Hector (tugboat)
Neptune (tugboat)
George Bowyer (harbor pilot)

Ships present at Cherbourg:
SS Nomandic (tender)
SS Traffic (tender)

Ships present at Queenstown:
SS Ireland (tender)
SS America (tender)

Ice warning ships:
SS La Touraine
SS Rappahannock
RMS Caronia
SS Noordam
RMS Baltic (1903)
SS Amerika
SS Californian (also rescue ship)
SS Mesaba

Rescue ships:
RMS Carpathia
SS Californian (also ice warning ship)
SS Mt. Temple
SS Parisian
SS Birma
SS Frankfurt

Aftermath:
CS Mackay-Bennett
Ambrose lightship and harbor pilot (circa 1912)
SS Lapland (carried Titanic's surviving crew)
Akademik Mstislav Keldysh (post-sinking)

SS Nomandic (tender)

Not sure if you know, but the Nomadic is presently in Belfast where she (along with some other ship, whose name I can't remember) was built.

Not sure how far on her restoration is, or if she is open to the public yet, but she is planned to be the centrepiece of the city's new Titanic quarter which will be situated around the dock where Titanic was built.  For a long time Belfast was one of the few cities left in the world which did not have some kind of Titanic museum, which has always seemed a little ironic to me.

Although when you think about it, she was hardly one of Harland and Wolffe's success stories, maybe the city thought that if they kept their mouths shut then eventually all the fusss would die down and everyone would forget all about the damned thing.

I voted other.  Have not looked through for a while, but Sea Shepherd ships (Steve Irwin, Bob Barker, Ady Gil, and Gojira) with original and current paint schemes would be cool.  Also, more fishing vessels, like those in Deadliest Catch, would be interesting.

oh, another ship type I'd like to see would possibly be military naval vessels...  aircraft carriers, battleships, cruisers, etc.
