Blackbat, in the next Ship Sim extreames and already in Ship sim08 pro there is a ship that uses VSP props but it is not a tug, it is a minesweaper. sorry its not a tug.

I would like to see some of the INCAT Catamarans (Such as the 112 Metre Natchan Rera). And An Armidale Class Patrol boat with working RHIBs. (Like the one they have in Sea Patrol Series 2 and 3) Also a Stealth boat like this. http://www.chinfo.navy.mil/navpalib/ships/misc/seashadow/seashadow02.jpg

the stealth boat would be cool. you could run overtop of one of the sailboats.

It would also be nice to have a formula 1 boat that you can drive in the bigger ports. For example we had a competition here in Stockholm a couple of years ago and it was very interesting to watch. It's hell of a much action, everything can happen!
I mean:
- 225 km/h on water!
- 400 hp at 10,000 rpm!
- 0 to 160 km/h in 4 seconds!

very happy some others have same view about powerboats.....there really should be a sim that is just powerboats, featuring all types there are in one game, should be able to race single player and multi....maybe not the place to send this message ..but the new addon powerboat is availible so its possible, please creators think of this powerboat game idea.....it is loved all over the world, it does'nt exist as a game, aprt from the old arcade games...we need a sim with power and glory.....F1, P1, Class1 powerboats.....heres just a pic of Miss Geico....lovly machine....

Colosus, how does it go with your king of shaves? When you're ready with it you can maybe send it to VSTEP, and perhaps they considering put it in the game sometime. I would really like to see your king of shaves too, please upload it here on the forum sometime

it will be a couple of weeks before i post a pic, its still early stage just a flat side so far, i will begin the top soon....normaly i will make two types to begin with....the same as miss Geico which is a Mystery C 5000 ...and the other like King of Shaves...with this one i can make other types too...but iam to slow to do it alone...i got kids...and you know try get on the pc to waste so time is hard to find......

i will post a pic when the hole side is complete...

Wyre Defence/Wyre conqueror/wyre majestic(lost jura sound)wyre gleaner/Wyre corsair
Wyre victory (lost on mills reef 1974 jan) 3hours in liferaft force 8 gale sister ship wyre conq picked us up took us to oban in scotland

Just wonder, why does many say RHIB, I've only heard RIB before (Rigid Inflatable Boat), so what stands the H for, Hydro?

Sorry to break the news but all the fleet was scrapped years ago when decommisioning for
trawler was brought in so wyre trawlers finished in the 1980s.

There are already so many different kinds of vessel in Ship Sim, the only thing that seems to be missing are dredgers, some of these could make interesting missions also, either a maintenance dredger dredging a channel / harbour or a gravel dredger dredging for sand and gravel and then taking it to port for discharge.

Boskalis Queen of the Netherlands would make a good large dredger, or UKD's Marlin would be a nice smaller one.

The other thing which is missing is a good freight RO-RO, Stena Traveller / Trader are nice, or one of the Flensburg ships.

A paddle steamer, like Skibladner on the lake of MjÃ¸sa, Norway.

Airboats, like they use in swamps.

Smaller cargo boats, old and modern.

Smaller yachts for vacation/ weekend trips, accomodated with kitchen, beds, toilet etc.

Military ships, like fast coast guard boats, MTB's and sofort.
