Microsoft,

First off; You are entitled to your opinion, as is everyone else on this forum.

If something is ugly to you, then it's ugly to you, easy as that. But I think you could have expressed your opinion a bit less rude, to be honest.

Try to express yourself a bit more respectfull towards others that might like these designs, and/or are actually involved with the process of creating these ships. They deserve better than being mocked, don't you agree? Calling them drunks, and making fun of the design process and so on, is disrespectful.

Yeah it's okay to have such a topic and it's okay to get such a discussion going. But calling ship designers drunks and mocking them a bit because you don't happen to like the looks of those ships, that's not very kind to those people that work really hard to create these ships, both on paper and for real. That's what I mean.

Nothing wrong with opinions, but I'm not keen on strong terms like 'disgust' and such. And just because it's not goodlooking to you, doesn't make the designers 'drunk fools', that's my point.

Instead of being confused you should moderate your original post to remove the offensive and untrue statements. As one who was involved in all aspects of the design of the Grand Class cruise ships I can assure you that there was no one, at any meeting in any country who was drunk. The people involved were and in many cases still are highly respected and motivated members of the cruise/ship building industries and will be quite surprised when they learn about the unmitigated rubbish which VStep allow on their forums.

Cruise ships make a lot of people sick, but thatâ€™s usually from eating the food, or failure of the roll stabilizers.

Personnally i don't like the desighns either and i would excpect more form NCL looking at some of there other ships (Except Pride of America of course

) Especcially after sailing on the Norwegian Sun (See my icon) and exsperincing there "freestyle cruising".

Hey microsoft

I've been to a visit on the Star Princess (sister ship to Golden Princess, and grand Princess), AND BOY OHH BOY, those ships may not be as beautifull on the outside, but have you ever heard of innerbeauty, DAMN she's nice inside, and if you realy want to seee ugly ships, i don't believe your in the right spot $:-\$ $:-\$ , because from my point of view Even the Mighty SS norway, was a beauty.

BTW. have you ever been on those what did you call them "ugly" ships. as writen above, they are pretty nice inside..

Theres no ugly ships in the world, But there might be ships that you don't like as much as others, BUT no ugly ships...

Just my thoughts as a cruise ship spotter/lover..

Microsoft,, my post deleted. Thank you for changing your original one, it is a worthwhile topic for converstion providing it it worded correctly. Now I have no problem with it apart from the fact that it is still quoted in 2 other members answers. Perhaps you should PM them and ask them to remove the quote?

Great, I, do not have any problem with my origional post. I stil;l haven't forgiven you for insulting me. Its a NICKNAME, Chaps, the whole point of it is to tell you what to call the user. If it wasnt, we could all just be called "forum user" and thats that. Your deleted post was one which was much offencive than my origional one. So I don't mind the quotes.
