What's your favourite bit on 2008
« on: July 20, 2007, 22:20:43 »

OK,

As the title says. What is your favourite bit of 2008.

Mine is (no idea why exactly) trying to berth the PoR in Rotterdam from the viewpoint of a deck officer on the lower stern deck.

It really does remind me of days on ferries at Dover and the precision of 'parking' a multi thousand tonne ship so accurately.

Over to you

Love the Titanic Solent mission. Charging through the Atlantic is great fun.

Too many to mention here  ;)

But I partucularly liked the Red Eagle's custom-made mission from Cowes to Southampton, probably cos I'm a ferry nut!  ;D

I feel so left out because I only have 2006. What's sailing to other ports like and does it take long?

It's great and it takes AGES!  ;D ;D

It takes me an hour just to get the Titanic out of the Solent and into the Atlantic!

Wow! ;D What are the 7 Open Sea environments besides the North Sea, Pacific, and Atlantic?

I know that the Mediterranean is one, not sure on the others off the top of my head!

EDIT: Been in the menu, and:

English Channel, Pacific, North Sea, Atlantic (and a separate 'North Atlantic'), Mediterranean and the Norwegian Sea.
