What Cruise ship are you most looking foward to?
« on: October 19, 2008, 12:58:03 »

With Oasis of the Seas under construction, aswell as Carnival Dream, Costa Pacifica, Costa Luminosa, Seabourn Odyssey, The Celebrity Solstice and Equinox, NCL F3 ships, MSC fantasia and Spledida, aswell as others, I ask the question, What Cruise ship are you most looking foward to? Out of pure curiosity ofcourse. personally Im most looking foward to Oasis of the seas, with its reveutionary design and Genius features such as broadwalk and central Park. I think the Carnival dream is pretty good looking aswell, but I ask the question again, what do you think?

I think that Cunard's Queen Elizabeth will be interesting, especially to see it's similarities to Queen Victoria.

I think that Osasis of the Seas looks a right tub lol :P

I would prefer the medium sized cruise liners. For example Fred. Olsens "Balmoral" or another, less-boxy-traditional cruiser.

I reckon the Queen Elizabeth will be interesting, after all its cunard. But I disagree with Oasis of the seas, I think it is quite good looking, but not as good looking as the Carnival Dream.

I agree with you, a mid-sized cruising vessel would be nice addition to the simulator. for example aidadiva or ocean village2.

I think the NCL f3's are going to be ugly from the outside, and too much based around people in their early 20s, who may not be able to afford to cruise. I think NCL are wasting their time and money.

hmm i couldn't say, i haven't found any sketches of the outside or anything. My Favorite NCL ship is the Norwegian Dawn, shes a beautiful ship loaded with great things to do. ;) I'd also be very interested in the 2 new Disney ships being built. I was on the Disney Magic and it may be expensive, but its worth it. The service is awesome on that ship. And shes another beauty on the inside.

Unfortunately, ocean liners don't seem to be what companies want now :(

I don't see the point, of building a ship with a thin hull that would get damaged in rough weather, when you could build a ship that can stand it.

There's proabably lots of technical reasons for it I don't know about :P

I still think that on a ship, you have tons more entertainment, food, space etc.

Planes are shorter, but your cooped up in a noisy cyliner with wings.

The magnificant "Great White Whale"! Would be a perfect vessel for the Southampton - Sydney run within the next version of the game. :D
