first of all do you know that im talking about a contra alto clarinet, k depending on the brand the prices are different, and i live in a different state then you sooo...

Oh. Your talking about a bass clarinet. Well, Mak esure you use air. My friend got one, And when he plays, you cant even hear it. He's capable of playing loudly, Hes just to lazy. It nothers me knowing that someone coul be like that. He might as well not even play cause we cant hear him anyways, even when he plays on his own.

i'm pretty sure thats a bass clarinet, i've never heard of an alto clarinet, i've heard of alto saxophones, but not alto clarinet. You might wanna look into that, and i don't think it cost $7,000 as my Nickle plated Holton french horn cost $3,000.

if you bought this instrument you should know what it can do. and i just wikied the contra alto clarinet, its also called a contrabass clarinet or for short, bass clarinet. So contra alto clarinet is simply fancy for bass clarinet.
