did anyone know bout the wreck of the ss america?and did you know it looks like the or is the sister of the big u? please reply to this one post.

SS America was built in 1938-40 and is not related to the SS United States.
She sailed under many different names for different owners and was under tow from Greece to Phuket, Thailand to become a floating hotel in 1993.
When the tow parted in an Atlantic storm, she was wrecked on the Canaries. She has been breaking up and sinking ever since. Last I heard, only the tip of her bow was above water.

if you want to see the remains of the ship head to google maps first the wikipedia to find the islands name in the canaries.
