A quick question about reg codes.

I have just ordered from Play.com for £6.99 a copy of ShipSim 2006 really because its cheap and I have never played a ship program before, so it it is only really to see if I like it.

Now when it gets here and I put the reg code into my profile, say at a latter date I decide to upgrade to Ship Simulator 2008 would I have access to the Ship Simulator 2008 mission downloads with my 2006 reg code or would I need to input the reg code for 2008 to gain access to 2008 stuff?

Hello Airport and welcome to the forum! (We get tons of new member every day. Who new?) Well, yes. You would need to use your ShipSim08 License Key with anything ShipSim08 Related stuff!

Thank you firestar12 for the information. I don`t know yet if I will get 2008 as I don`t know yet if I will enjoy playing a ship sim never having played one before. Thats the whole point of getting 2006 first as I found in the past that you can`t really get the feel for a game with a limited demo.

Just one more thing will I need to use the name in game as I registered with on the forum (IE in game I would have to use the name airport) if so I will have to make a new forum account as I always use my real name in games but a nickname on forums.
