Nice luxury yacht
« on: September 16, 2008, 19:55:06 »

Hi here is my new Gmax project. I's a yacht I designed in paint, and I thought I should just make it in Gmax, because I really liked the way it looked

Yeah, I got a bit of inspiration from it, but I'm sure it will look different, when it's done

thanks, I think I will give you some updates later today, since there is a storm coming today, I'll probably be inside. Hope it want be as bad as one a couple of months ago, in that storm several house roofs, boats, and a fire station got destroyed, and some boats to, which reminds me that our boat is in a very bad place, so I hope nothing will happend to it

Ok here are some updated pictures, anyone knows how to put glass in the windows frames?

Open the material editor and make a new material with a green-blue collor and make it transparant.

Then you make a object that fits in the windowframe and you add that new transparent material.

I use for glass:

Red: 110
Green: 179
Blue: 168

To edit the color click right from the word ambient.

And i put opacity on 25 to make the material transparent.

Haven't ever thought about VS, but could be a good idea, I would like to sail my own vessels, but I just have no idea how to add it to VS

Hi, I got new pics now, I haven't been able to work so much on the vessel, so there's not any big changes.
But I think I could now start on making some details and the bridge-

Yes,it is a very good start.
However, the top bridge is a bit to high for the model.
This is just my opinion,i'm not to involved with yachts.
