Titanic Model

Sorry guys I just couldn't bring myself to spend $150 for a titanic model. They had two of them, carved from wood. They had LED lights for the windows and even color changing ones on deck. Maybe I will buy one someday.

Sounds cool.  I wish I had a Titanic model, make it my center piece to my Titanic collection.

It had LED lights pretty cool. I might look into it just for you titanic fans. Its not that much. I have the money.

Edit: Ok talked to my mom, my dad and I are going back to the fair this weekend to see if it is still there. It is probably 4 ft in length. Pretty big.

 HHmmm... it seems a bit... unrealistic, the finish on the wood is nice and all but that lack of realism would just annoy me.

hi guys well efry year i go to the beaili aotojumble biggest in euripe i saw the qween mary modl it was made on the qween mary at the time it was £2000 good price

That model looked NOTHING like Titanic.

Get your eyes checked, look at the Ship Sim Titanic, then go look at that model again.

Sure, the model does not look very realistic. The scale on the individual components are way off, parts are missing of course, or wrongly shaped or colored, etc.. But I think it's the nature of the material and the skills of the craftsman that limited the model's accuracy. Still, a good bit of work, I wouldn't have the patience to better my woodworking skills and spend the time to build it. As such, it's a nice model of a ship, resembling the Titanic.  ;D

Ya, But incorrect number of lifeboats, Rudder and Hull shaped wrong, Aft well deck is just EWWWWWW, Cranes look more like Britannic's Lifeboat Gantry davits, Wrong number of little lines on A & B deck, Lifeboats sat WAY to high up, and the first one was hanging over the ship, The Starboard Bridge wing looks like a Bird House (lol), And thats not even the half of it. not worth $125 I suppose if you put a decimal in between the 1 and 2...
EDIT @ Gigantic.WOW! Maybe he should make a full scale one! lol.

That is Peter Davies-Garner's 18-foot model, the most accurate in existance!

OMG. I would shoot myself just to see it in real life. I think he should Rebuild her. And no Gigantic. His isnt the most Accurate. Titanic itself was.

Also, if you go to the Titanic Museum in Branson, Missouri, they have a copy of it. Not updated like that on, but one none the less.

He also has book that say how to make it!

Once again, not updated, though.

The model is at a scale of 1/48
