Why are there 3 different topics on the same thing is what im wondering? VSTEP has to get it right. Would you like a release of the elbe not finished and not working?

Late again? She already got released and got late again??? I don't understand. Maybe you should use one of the other 3 topics to post this.

Only start a new topic if you absolutely HAVE to!

Doesn't it even cross your mind that some things get delayed for a reason. He didn't tell you that for a laugh  ::)

There is a reason it has taken so long. Stop being impatient and start being thankful that VSTEP are giving you this in return for a month of moaning.

Highly unlikely I would have thought, nothing is open in Holland on Sundays

hey...! here's a though i have a feeling that VSTEP did NOT release elbe yet, is because they were/are focusing their attention of Ship Simulator 2008 Pro, so they must of put elbe aside until they finish with SS08 Pro edition or something to do with it, and probably now they are getting slowly back on track with elbe sometime soon.....hmmm could i be right :P?

As always, specific dates were not mentioned with a certain promiss, and there was only a planned period in which it would be released.

But since these things are always announced whilst the new content is still undergoing development and testing, you cannot take them as bottom line promisses. or deadlines.

Generally speaking, such planned dates are rarely met by software developers. Most of the times it will take a little bit longer, since unforseen things seem to have a tendency to show up when you least want them to.

So you have to view certain announcements of new things to come in that way, to prevent dissapointment.

And as there wasn't really a need for another topic on this subject, this one is now locked.

Regards,
Fred
