A sub would be very nice, but in order for that to happen V-Step would have to model the world below the ocean and would probably cause lag even if you're in a classic surface ship. Remember that undersea mountains, valleys, and rifts would have to be added, as well as the underwater portion of icebergs and maybe coral for Bora Bora. Also it gets dark underwater and the current light system on ships is just dots of color. But if subs are ever added it would be cool is shipwrecks would also be modeled so you could have exploration journeys (maybe the Titanic in the Atlantic Ocean map?).

Not to sound cliched, but what a long, strange, trip it's been.

It doesn't need to model the ocean because the most of the subs haven't windows.... ;)

Then if they make a small one with windows it would be PERFECT :2thumbs: to design the ocean (like creating shipwrecks, corals, etc.). Also the could create a new kind of mission :captain:

Right, but there is the orbit view.

Like MIR or Nautilus, with a mother ship (and the subs as deployables!) along with deployable ROVs from submersibles. But still, lights in the game don't really shine ahead, they're just colored dots. Maybe x meters in front of the sub or closer would be pre-lit. And of course it takes a long time to descend to the sea floor, namely in the north Atlantic. Subs would probably be best in Bora Bora, with the clean, shallow water and already modeled sea floor.

Hello,

I would like it to see some former Helgoland cruise liners like the "Wappen von Hamburg" or the "Wilhelmshaven"

Greetings from Germany
