Sketch up Textures
« on: June 22, 2008, 03:42:14 »

Does anyone know how sketch up saves its unique texture files when you export as a *.3DS file?

Man... I forgot about this topic.  I've answered my questions after I posted this. This was like my second or third topic. :D

Ahhhh...   Memories. ;)

Austin, you do not have to be so mean to PACO. You act like you are ruler of the forum half the time. >:(

Lighten up everyone, no need to get nasty. :)

But I do agree to an extend, that posting in a months old topic without actually contributing to it, is not wanted. So Paco, unless you had a solid answer, you had no reason to tell us you don't know how to solve llamalord's problem! Please think about that next time. Thanks!

Fred.

To give an answer (but I gues you know it by now (120 days later...)) With 3ds export, make sure the textures are in the same folder as the 3ds file, make sure you use short texture names, or 3ds can not read them.

better late than never  ;D

In other words it does not export the textures, you have to put the textures you used in the same folder as the 3ds file.
