Hi Jose,

It is the principal route for drugs to enter the US from Colombia. Fast boats take the stuff up, not to Miami, but to secluded drop-off points in the keys.
Itâ€™s only 2300 Km around the west end of Cuba; shorter if they want to chance passing Gitmo.
