Dear Simmers; When the depression, loaded with complains about delivery problems, bugs, slow computers, etc., has finally passed, we will be back in calm waters and will be able to see what ShipSuim Ex really is; So far I noticed only improvements for the 'racers': fance boats- fancy toys - high end scenery- all commercial stuff we are actually not waiting for, because there are much more important issues to solve;
Regrettable there is still no wind- current effect (something what had been introduced elsewhere, more than 10 years ago) and now on top of that, some genius has deleted the controls in the wheelhouse- not to speak about never fitted controls on the bridge wings! Where are the navigation beacons/light and light bouys in Hoek v Holland?
Simulation means further that a choice can be made from the standard packet of vessels; Of course there is an endless debate about which vessels to put in the game, but the developers, being Dutch (or maybe not?) should know that we presently are missing a standard cargo vessel from the sixties; The "Jumbo J" and "Agio.." are hardly standard cargo vessels; Missing also is a standard harbour tug- again I am talking about one propeller/ one rudder; Present tugs are hardly 'standard; Now also missing "Elbe" en Fury"; Can not believe the bad/arrogant answer I have seen on the forum; If the "Jumbo J" can survive, then why not these two vessels; If I remember correct, a part of the revenues went for covering the maintenance? I hear a different tune when reading answers about 'greenpeace'. Finally my old point: Printable maps, showing the harbours as they are in ShipSim- I could not find them, but have might overlooked these. I also miss a feature that we can look around with the keys instead of only the mouse.
