Why don't ship's capsize when they are meaning to?

I was trying to recreate the Poseidon Adventure 2005 Movie and when I tryed nothing happened.
What I did was put both ancors down then full ahead and the ship looked like it was capsizing but it went back up and resumed it's normal postition. I was just wondering that's all.

Putting both anchors down is, obviously, not likely to capsize a ship.
The dynamics of the ships do not include the range of attitudes necessary for realistic behavior under those conditions, nor was it ever intended that they should.
Capsizing and realistic sinking have always been outside the designed purpose of the simulator.

I have capsized ships before using one anchor.  Of course, it can be a bit trickly.

I think it was Michael who had a mission sometime ago that involved anchoring Ocean Star. I had some way on her when I dropped the hook and took a boat into town. When I returned, I found her on her beam ends. After I raised the anchor, she righted herself.

I've almost capsized the Titanic a few times from when  steer too hard she leans on her port side and slowly straightens up

I Capsized P&O With Anchor. Next time I try to capsize titanic!

Titanic is a gigantic Ocean Liner and she is a bit hard to capsize

It always works to me to make an Poseidon Adventure.

I usually use the Pride of Rotterdam. Here is what to do:

Find a enviroment wich the seas are deeper then 200 meters (I prefer Atlantic Ocean or Pacific Ocean)

Lower both the anchors and go full speed forward and if she go's stable again, go full speed backward.
Keep doing this until she completely capsize but the most efective way is going full speed forward.
