Hi Mike, those are the one flag signals, I meant what was the meaning of the three flag signal. However I think you have given me the answer to my question without realising it. To be read as one flag signals there would have to be a tackline between each flag, or else flown on separate halyards.

Or "Listen, you're heading into trouble. Stop it and follow my advice".

That's a recurring theme when I warn people that they're stepping too near to the acceptable line on the forum. The flags were just an "in joke".
