i dont know if to get SS08 or wait till SS09 comes out, what do you guys think?

Hi Tractor.

I hope no one takes this in a bad way, but I'd say get Shipsim 2008. Reason being is, Vstep is a small developer, so it takes time to get things working right. As of now, the game is working brilliantly (what with New Horizons, patch 1.4.2 and all), so I'd say buy this one. No offence to Vstep, but when they release a game, I've found it's better to hold off for a couple of months until the first major patch arrives. Of course, things might be different this time around (with 09), but considering how much fun 08 is right now, and for how cheap you can get it, I'd say it's well worth it.

I always wait to get the US version! ;D

I perfer it, as I live in the US :)

If you love Ships Buy ShipSim 2008. VStep is small, so they need the money to develop further sims. I don't want ShipSim to fade away just because the moeny lacked to develop it... I Also enjoyed ShipSim 2006 but 2008 is far better. And so will be 2009 when it comes out, till then enjoy what you have (It's like with Flight Sim. You have a great time and smile a few years later about how you could have found that game cool).
