The Ships have locks on them if there are in the addon. And that is not his server its someone elses.
-
Apparently these ships are in testing and will be released as single ship downloads in the next 2-3 weeks for us ;)
They will cost money though :-\
-
i bet 2-3 weeks will long pass before we see them
-
No, that came from an official VSTEP developer ;)
-
well what vstep say and what happens would be 2 different things as things happen and thing get put back
-
A VSTEP developer said to a friend of mine that they are currently making the final changes to the dynamics and the first out of the 2 should be available 2 weeks from now, with the 2nd becoming available the week after that. And they will be sold at no more than £6.00 each apparently

Thick black smoke alright, and yes the person who got the info about the elbe and furie was me. And according to the developer the first ship will arrive in about 2 weeks and the next a few weeks later. I'll keep you updated on this topic :)

£6 each you can get nh for that price witch contain lots of ships and a new port
-
If you can find NH for £6 i wanna know about it ::)
-
no he said £6 each and £12 for 2 ships is alot
-
It's so expensive because they are raising funds to keep the ships running, £12 isn't a lot to ask for to keep 2 classic ships sailing
-
it is conperd to nh which has lots of ships and a new port
-
Yes, but the money is helping to keep thw two tugs going.
I think it is worth paying more for two good quality models which is helping keeping the real ships going, instead of them losing money and being scrapped.

That's exactly what i said - pauljanaway, they are so expensive to keep these 2 beautiful ships running, £6 is not so much to keep 2 90 year old vessels going is it?
-
well i will be waiting for the next ship sim befor i make my chose to get them
-
When will these be released for the English version of SS200? Autumn 2008? :)

The first ship will come out in 1-2 weeks now, the second ship will come about 2 weeks after, that is what i have told by the developer.

Hey, i have found an aw sum video of a dutch steam tug, she's a beauty. Here's a little something for everyone.

What a pity that some players do not recognise the work and care that has been put into these two models. I would think that £6 sterling was a very fair price to pay, particularly as some of the proceeds will go to help with the upkeep of these two historic vessels. Nothing is for nothing and such beautiful ships do not grow on trees. ::) Oh, and by the way, the ships are in the final stages of testing as I write.
-
somone said £6 each that is £12 for the two which is alot comperd to the addon pack witch is £14 and you get 8 ships and a new port
-
How detailed will those vessels be?
-
dont know but if they are ingame then they will be upto vstep standers

These two ships are very detailed indeed. Perhaps far more so than you could think. Brilliant models in fact. There are improvements underway since that video was made. Note the sound of the chain driven steering gear on "Furie", that is truly realistic.
-
When you compare prices for Elbe & Furie, remember that the sale of these models was to help pay for maintenance.

WOW, i cant believe it its actually the SHIPS ;D, it's so great "P.I wonder dough, how come Furie is not shooting thick black smoke and how come Elbe sounds like shepra instead of a "different" kind of engine sound? or is that meant to be the acual engine sound of the Furie? im a bit confused.
