Title: Music Trivia
Post by: trains on May 31, 2008, 20:19:47
Here is a new trivia. They are popular around here. Same rules as all others. First question. What song is this from? "Bobby said he'd pull out but Bobby stayed in. Jenny had a baby. Wasn't any sin. They were set to marry, on a summer day. Bobby got scared and he ran away"

Title: Re: Music Trivia
Post by: Mad_Fred on June 03, 2008, 04:27:26
Hmm, no it didnt...

Springsteen has long had the nickname "The Boss", a term which he was initially reported to hate but now seems to have come to terms with, as he sometimes jokingly refers to himself as such on stage. The nickname originated when a young Springsteen, playing club gigs with a band in the 1960s, took on the task of collecting the band's nightly pay and distributing it amongst his bandmates.

Anyway, next question..

Who sang:

"I will tend my hat to the new state
Take a stern for the new revolution
Smile and grin you at the change everyone around
Cancel my guitar and game
Immediately like yesterday"

And for a bonus point, what is the name of their drummer?

Ok, here's my question, although it's really more than one.  This may be easier for our German friends ;)

2 popular German Heavy Metal bands had a number of songs in the 1980's.  Name the bands who sung these songs:

1.  Crossfire (1984)
2.  All We Are (1987)

Bonus points if you can name the albums too ;)

Edit: Typo on the year ::)
Title: Re: Music Trivia

[One word censored, because it's the song title ;)]

White lights, strange city, mad music, all around
Midnight, street magic, crazy people, crazy sound
Jack Flash, rocket man, Sergeant Pepper and the band
Ziggy, Benny and the Jets
Take a ......, we just gotta fly

I can take you through the center of the dark
We're gonna fly
On a collision course to crash into my heart
I will be your, I will be your, I'll be your

[Chorus Follows]
