I'd really like to know what program they use to make dynamics for the ships...

I'd like to know if the moon is made of cheese, but I guess I'll find out when those in charge want me to.

The crowd look on as a deathly silence falls over the Forum :P
/me thinks (to himself), 'better get my gun out of the cupboard'

You threatening me again with the gun huh? and I've not even objectively and accurately described the 2nd worst ship film in the world to you.

[RWP]DJM’s pistol came out, and his hand lay on the table, holding it unaimed. And with a voice as gentle as ever, the voice that sounded almost like a caress, but drawling a very little more than usual, so that there was almost a space between each word, he issued his orders to the man Stu:
"When you say that, :)!"
And he looked at Stu across the table. Yes, the voice was gentle. But in my ears it seemed as if somewhere the bell of death was ringing; and silence, like a stroke, fell on the large room.

Could you possibly tell that to all the people taking part in drive by shootings, please?
Ah. ah. ah. I know what you're thinking. Has he used his quota of witty comebacks today. Tell you in truth, in all the excitement, I've kind of lost track myself. And being that this witticism is a Stu-humour and can blow your comedy clean off your post, you've got to ask yourself is 'do I feel lucky'. Well, do you, Punk?'

EDIT: For anyone under the age of 30- this is a play on the Dirty harry films. It doesn't mean I'm threatening Mr DJM (yet :P ) and nor do I necessarily think he's a member of the punk movement ;)

Very small font there stuart. Suspicious! ;D

There's an easy way to check small fonts... Try using the 'lateral thinking' feature. Thats a clue, btw.
Stu

Yes... sorry. you have to go to Comet or somewhere like it and buy a MASSIVE widescreen plasma screen... then it will show up bigger. ;D
Stu

Easier way. Copy it and paste into word processor and make bigger font. And it worked! ;D

Easier way than that... you just press the quote button and it will repeat what was written. Regardless of size (read it and then either quote or delete quote and reply normally).
Whose the genius? ;)
I'm the genius!

I did for a while, but unfortunately I was developing severe inability to breath. But I now know what a camels rump must suffer.

People would kill everyone if they didn't have guns here. If you don't have a gun you die over here if your not in the city :p
Do have to have a license though :p

That's why I'm glad about living in the middle of nowhere in a quiet place such as Norfolk ;D

Could always go out and shoot a few wild potatoes then :)

lol, actually, since I posted that I thought about how much shooting goes on around here. So really it is far from quiet in the county :D
We often hear shooting when the shooting club come to shoot the pigeons. We also have deer round here, so we could shoot those too. Thankfully no one does though :)
I live in a small detached house, there are lots of fields around here and I have a huge forest at the end of my garden :)

I like east anglia. used to go regularly for business... once east past peterborough or newmarket (depends on the way I went)... lovely drive...
I dont understand why it is so difficult to cross anglia though. train, bus, car- go basically via london. Still if the government gets its way then anglia will be renamed megacity 1- 'the home of concrete'.

Well where I live, between Norfolk and Great Yarmouth, there is a long main road where you can almost get from Norfolk through to Great Yarmouth. This road passes through or near Wroxham, Horning, Stalham (Where I live), Potter Heigham, Martham, Ormsby and a few other small places. So really, the main part of North Norfolk is fairly easy to get around although it takes some time depending on where you'd like to go.
Norfolk is a beautiful place, specially just here. I have fields all around me, and the Norfolk Broads is a lovely place to come to if you want to relax and unwind whilst navigating a boat up and around Horning. Beautiful rivers with riverside properties.
I'd love the Norfolk Broads to be modelled on ship sim, but being such a small part of britain I am almost certain that it wouldn't be.
-
The norfolk broads are fascinating indeed. I think they would make a good subject for modelling, but, alas, I agree it is not likely to be at the top of the list for vstep (I think the inland waterwys of the netherlands may one day, AS A GUESS).
I remember seeing a canal narrow boat go into the north sea at kings lynn... and having to be rescued some time later in the day. I imagine they aren't allowed to do it now anyway.
Stu
-
No, non-sea going boats are not really allowed to navigate into the sea beyond Great Yarmouth, especially hire craft.
-
Back in the mid 80s, they were advised against, but permitted to go through if they insisted (maybe they had to sign a disclaimer).
I know there was a case of 2 narrow boats lashed together that went across to Dover straits. Even with the protective covers and lashed together for stability- I would not have liked to be on it. Those tiny ripples below a car ferry suddenly seem bigger when you are down on the sea surface like that. Mad people.

Sorry for the late-ish reply.....been having some R & R ;)
In my own little world, it's illegal........guns should ALL be melted down to make ships :D
I know.....I've finally 'lost it' ::) ;)
