Title: Printer problems!!

Hi all,

As you may know I recently got this new computer - however, the printer is a few years old, and the disk with the software on will not install (I assume because it just isn't compatible with Win7).

Is there any way I can get around this? I saw something on "Giveawayoftheday" a while ago which appeared to be software you could use with any printer...but maybe I misread it. Something like this would be ideal, as i'm slightly concerned at the moment since i'm going back to school soon and need to print off my work :-X

Hi jack,

Maybe the website of your printer's manufactorer still offers support and drivers for download. They often do.  :thumbs:

Hi Jack,

Perhaps you can try to install it under compatibility modus. Right click on the installation file, properties -> compatibility modus. Try to select WinXP or something  :)

I'll try that! Thanks a lot! I'll let you know what happens.

If not, i'll try Freds idea of looking on the site...Hopefully it'll get resolved soon.
