Title: Pilot on board!
Post by: Ballast on August 11, 2009, 12:51:07: Here is a movie i've recently made on board. Pilot boarding at the Wandelaar pilot station off the Belgium coast. We were underway from Huelva, south Spain to Antwerp in Belgium.

Post by: Ballast on June 26, 2010, 13:19:10: It goes indeed very quick, it saves alot of time if the pilot doesn't need to use the pilot ladder. The SWATH vessel makes a list by transferring ballast to adjust to the freeboard of the vessel they need to get alongside with.

There is one funny thing when I'm watching ship-videos: Since I play Ship Simulator (08), I always try to move the camera by dragging the mouse ... just to realise, that it doesn't work.
