Title: A questions regarding Fraps files and the internet....
Post by: RMS Gigantic on December 31, 2008, 20:43:07
If I were to upload an unconverted Fraps AVI file onto YouTube at full resolution, would YouTube accept it and/or would viewers encounter problems watching it? Or should I run it through an encoder before uploading?

I think you can't upload big avi files, but probably best to ask YouTube themselves.

They accept avi files, as it says on the page for accepted formats. It just can't be more than 1 GB in file size.

HI
You can upload a video on you tube with up to 1 GB in size, about 12 minutes if you use the new up loader
