Hey, anyone ever see the movie, Ghost Ship? Great film. Really....ummm...cant find that word ^^ But, maybe suspensful, but, cant remember the word I though of xD

Greta movie, its about a murder mystery about an italian liner thats been drifting around the sea for many many years, unfound by anyone, but a helicopter spotted her, and informed a team of salvagers whosn et out to find her, then find it and solve the mystery and all that.

or... an italian liner from 1962 went missing mysteriosly and no one's seen her for 40 years. then a man from the arctic weather patrol saw a liner floating in the bearing strait and tried for radio contact and got no reply. then a salvage crew informed thta the ship was there and set off to find her. the story of the ship is that every one was murdered and the bodies are not there. then the ghosts appear at random times and one girl tries to kill a crew member. the captain of the ship talked to the captain of the salvage crew. a little girl talks with the Spambot member of the salvage crew. the only mystery is why was everyone murdered. it had to do with gold taken aboard from another ship adrift. all but one member of the salvage crew is killed and she sees something at the end of the movie that really scares her. thats all i'll give.

the gold bricks were taken abourd with a serial killer or soime guy from a ship that had engine fallier or something? Right? I forgot xD Well, I do know that i elft out the bricks, and, do you wanna know the ending of the movie? Cuz, I remember that fine :P

hahaha xD Well, some bad guys :P And the passengers were killed when the murders A, put toxin.poisen in the drinks, and B, did something to a wire and made it wip accross the dance floor, slicing everyone in half, as seen in the preveiws and stuff. But not gonna give away the ending, as its a good one. Unless he wants me too

he was not a serial killer. he was a soul collector(in-human) was he got every soul he needs, they all go to hell. poor people, ghost, soul things ;D

[spoiler] Well, im still pondering if she was having hallucionations, or was real when she saw thema t the end. At the end, the blow up the ship, the old liner, the girl is floating in the ocean, and a cruiser ship picks her up, the soul collecter ow needs to captuire anyother ship because the previos was destroyed, so at the end shes in the bakc of an ambulence, and then as the doors shut she sees her friends, the salvage crew who have died, in sun browned sailor uniforms, walkeing up the steps to the ship with the boxws of gold bars. My geuss is that the 'legend lives on" and everyone on that cruiser ship dies, and it floats in sea bla bla like hte other one. Would be cool if there was a second ghost ship, would be cool to see an old, deserted, beaten, color faded modern day cruise ship, like the liner int he movie. [/spoiler]

didnt look like the crew at angles. dodge is the only one who seemed to be in there. i'll check now.

wow, just imagine having that ship in SS08, all rusty old, wrecked...omg it will be like soo awsum, sailing the seven seas with a ship that never sleeps, and don't be afraid to make it scary. I would personally love it, what does evryone think of the idea?

BO YA BABY :o ;D, where already half way there, you are doing a good job jack keep it up :D..... man i can just about feel her cold dead rails in the rain smashing against her hull... the wheel turning from side to side water dripping from her ghostly decks, smashed windows at the bridge lights switched to dim calmly sailing in the foggy night with the flat calm like a mirror across the ocean, stars sparkling like fireflies flying in the air.... ::)

yeah, first part is making her, then asking people if she turned out alright, final touches, as members if they want it in teh game, then if all that goes well this is the hard part, convincing VSTEP to add her to the ship yard but of course before that she must be shipped to vstep for checkups etc...that would take another month.... :o so probably it would take like 3 moths to make her, 3 weeks to get votes from members if they like it, mayeb 1 week to get it to VSTEP headqaters and 1 moth for vstep to do the checkups....if evrythign goes well we should have her ready in time :) ::)
evrything rests in Jack's hands and the person he contacted or knows that has started modeling her

Hello Admiral, i think she will be modeled in 3dmax, well thats the program that it will allow to be up to standards to be in SS08, but we can try with google sketchup for practice, or move on the the 3dmax program instead.

The only other programs I know of that can meet the standards are: Blender, and True Space
And guess who this forums resident True Space guru is. ;)

You can add static people on deck in the mission editor, but only two or three at most.
You can yes, using the mission editor, I take it you have that installed? :)

yes i do have it installed and yes it is rubbish i think the people should move around and you click on a ship and type how many passengers you want ;D ;D ;D :D

Well that's a little much :P But watching the E3 video of Ship Simulator Extremes, you can see a person walking across the Agile Solution ;) (won't be confirmed till release :P )

Must you keep talking like this about things you obviously do not even understand and/or know how to properly use, and insult the people that worked hard on it, in the proces? I bet all the missions makers who delivered very well designed and realistic missions with it would gladly disagree with your uninformed opinion here, to be honest.
