You're VERY welcome!

Especially since if these changes can be made by Ship Simulator 2010, EVERYONE will win, because the goal of accuracy in dynamics will be achieved, and those who complain about inaccuracy will start shutting their traps :D :P

Well,Ive just seen the SS2010 movie. Are you telling me VSTEP that we ll have whales on it? On a not very far post you told me that SS was not an Acuarium sim,but if you have been reconsidering sealife is very welcome. So,how is supposed we are going to see these criatures? Perhaps an underwater new vehicle like a minisub attached to an explorer oceanic boat?
Also, and going to other things, what about to implement the John P Bobo USNavy prepositioning ships or some kind to FFG or DD,just to calm my apetite?

Regards and Merry Christmas

So, Terry, Fred, did either of you read my links?

Yes, I did. As you may be aware, I only flew in from the USA yesterday so I wasn't really up to very much. But it did seem that the threads are a sort of story, made to look like a newspaper article from the time. There were a number of figures quoted in the story, but without references to the original sources they could be genuine or invention.

Was I missing something in my jet-laggedness?

The Encyclopedia-Titanica has foot notes with its sources. There are superscript numbers throughout the article that indicate which source that figure came from.

i think the Wales intro wasn't actually part of the game

What has Wales to do with it at all? Wales is a country, part of the United Kingdom. Whales are large  aquatic mammals. come on Nathan you should know that.

You never met my girlfriend from Sawnsea then. She was a
big
girl...

When she went swimming, "large aquatic mammal" was relevant.

Just Joe King.

Would be brilliant in SS2010 the capability to navigate into the same sea-ocean(Mediterranean,Atlantic,Pacific) from one port to another, not just a harbour or individual ports with limited borders.
Also, some kind of downloadable online weather tool implementing real sky conditions and sea state-currents.That would be amazing VSTEP.

ok.. ill jump in then...

i hope there's gonna be a Marmite/mushroom carrying ship in SS2010!

Someone hazzard a guess (or photoshop) how it (mar)mite look?

Regards,

Steiny

gonna scroll back and read the cookingbrochures!

Maybe a bit of White paint could convert the name on the side of this ship to "MARMITE NAVIGATION"

correct engine telegraphs would be nice,

something like that wouldn't be hard to do, and a slight bit of lag would be nice too, since right now everything is instant control.
