Yes I think Stockholm is a very good Idea. I was there last year, I think its a challange to find your place if you come from the open sea. There are really a lot of islands. And in Stockholm still working steamboats (I think for tourists). And its a beautyful city scenery.

greets strassenkreuzer

yes stockholm also but before you get to stockholm you have to pass denmark via oersund or great belt brigde, off cause not all have to some goes via the kiel channel wich i allso think is a great idea..

Hello all sailors!

Why not the most trafficated sound in the world, with one shipmovement every 5 min the year around. To drive one of the ferrys between Helsingborg-Helsingor in the HH-sound Denmark - Sweden would be nice!

Best regards/Nisse

I think Channel Islands would be good! Longest crossing would be Guernsey to Jersey/Alderney - 1 hour by fast ferry and just 3 mile hops to Herm and a 9 mile hop to Sark!

I would like to see Hull in the game, it is a cool harbor, with a big channel, and then we can sail the Pride of Rotterdam from Rotterdam to Hull, like in real. Yes, a nice Norweigan fjord. Heavy on graphics... Somewhere like Flamm- spectacular.

This sounds like an interesting idea.

I have two questions:

1. At what speeds does it take two hours?

2. Will the game engine hold out? It often cuts out on me if I game close to 2 hours.

I hate the current game engine.

Around 18 knots.
And I don't think so.
 ;)

Glad you liked the scotland to belfast idea. :D

I'd like to see......

1.Dover-Calais/Dunkerque/Le Harve etc North eastern french coast up to and inc Antwerp including locks and canals etc as one sailing area with associated vessels.

2.Hong Kong/Singapore think of the amount of shipping and navigation hazzards around there, not to mention piracy and very small islands to make navigation difficult.

3.Not really a harbour (but it has it's biggest effect in them) let's see some tides and currents.

One of the best, in my opinion, would be Venice. This would cover everything, from the small, busy canals (and fantastic buildings) to the more open waters of the lagoon and from there out to sea.

Imagine using the speedboat for James Bond type fast chases through the canals - now that would be a tough mission!

I think also the St. Petersburg harbour and area is an interresting place. There you have all you want, cruise terminals, cargo terminals, the river and some riverarms in the city, islands and a very beautyful city.

i would like to see Teignmouth which is quite small and has fishing boats sailing yahgts docked in it as well as smaller cargo ships which have to navigate a small channel compared to their size, which would be quite a challenge.

also i don't no if this is already included but i would like to see tides because teignmouth has quite large tides
