When I was working in Fishguard I had a tourist come up asking "where is Abergwaun?" (Abergwaun Is Fishguard in welsh).
I looked at him for a few seconds and just said "you're in Fishguard!"
He  looked at me as if I was an idot and then said "no, Abergwaun - not Fishguard!"
I replied " Abergwaun is Fishguard!"
"Nope it's not - complete different place you idot" I pulled out my phone and shown him a picture of the road sign "Fishguard - Abergwuan" never seen somone look so small - everyone was looking in the shop.

I had a similiar experience to you CC, on the Dean Forest Railway, where I work. We had a diesel multiple train running, and it was advertised on the leaflet as this. When we got into to Lydney, a couple came on and the woman said "This is a steam railway, isn't it supposed to be steam?" and I said "No, today we are running diesel". She then said "But you are supposed to be running steam, look, it says 'Steam Railway' on your leaflet" to which I replied "Yes, but sometimes we run a diesel day, look here on the leaflet" and I showed them the calender with the little sign that says diesel day on the day we were running. Then she said "Oh well. I'll have to complain, I wanted steam". I was like ??? it says right in front of you 'Diesel Day'??

I don't mind new look buildings too much, as long as it isn't pink and has fluffy bobbles on it I'm usually fine with it! :D

Have you tried restarting your computer?  ;)

The selection window also hangs on my computer on rare occasions. Rebooting the PC fixed it for me.

It's looks like to me as an error to windows aero - the ui theme
Can you boot your computer up in recovery mode and go back to the last update?

I have already done it as well.... I spent an hour yesterday to find out the reason of the problem...

If I uninstall Java and reinstall it again will it be a possible solution?

PS: I just want to know how this problem is called and then search it on the internet
