-

Its about as special as me doing the same thing except on an Arrie Visser. lol.
-
If I understand this correctly, you've switched the engines off and things went quiet? Or am I missing something?

I don't know. I wish it was as exiting to me. lol. I could amuse myself all day.

you are right about the engine going quiet but it also kept the telegraph on the option i selected for it
-
interesting.
I should try this sometime ;)
-
I must be missing the point too here. ;D
So the engine keys turn the engines on and off, just like they mean to do, and this doesn't influence the throttle (telegraph), also as it shouldn't do, by design?
Turning off the engine doesn't mean the throttle has to close too...
Or did you mean that it's not realistic for Titanic? Well it's how the game works I guess.

well the Titanic has features like all other ships...you can turn the engines off, she has radio transmitions, and i bet RMS Gigantic can name more as he's good with that. i've actually known this for a while but didn't feel like posting it as i was others do....so what are we exactlly missing?
-
I still think it's too early for april fools here....
Still funny how confused you all are.. he must be having a ball..
but then again.. i get the same non-noise when i turn my shaver off... oh wait.. you'll find out what that is soon enough.

You can watch it! Cheek! I didn't shave this morning and have a face with a surface like a Brillo pad.
;D
I did try not starting Ship Simulator, and I think I heard the same noises as Matt5764, though. Apparently my wife gets the same noises because she doesn't have Ship Simulator installed.

And????
What's special about this?
-
by looking at the controls at the bottom left there is no engine on/off switches for titanic but for the other ships

Because she uses telegraphs.
-
More likely because she had steam engines. The coal fired ones didn’t switch on and off.
Firestar is correct in that the telegraph had a “finished with engines†order.

I made 3 more discoveries, this time for walking through it.#1 face the stern in front of the forward cargo hold walk to the mast.you will go through it.#2 go right through the forward mast.#3 before t=entering the stern well deck go to the railing and keep walking you will fall to the stern well deck

We are aware of these. Use the search function. (Not to be rude at all) But there is a TON of great information there.
