Still no sign of my boxed version which I pre-ordered from the Shipsim website.

I'm going to wait until Friday 3rd Sept and contact Vstep if still nothing. I have just seen Aad the Pirate's posting about TNT, that explains a lot!

Is a fishing boat really worth paying Â£10 more than amazon for ? Some of us did this to get the fishing boat, To support Vstep and to get the game on release day. Vstep have been let down big time by steam, Paradox & TNT but that is not the customers problem we paid our money on time therefore we would expect our on time. This game launch has been a failure big time but with luck leassons have been learnt so they will not happen again. And at least Vstep are already working on patches not many companys are that quick.

I received a reply to my second e-mail to VSTEP which explained that the problem was at a TNT dist centre and if no game tomorrow (1st) then to let them know. Hopefully the game WILL turn up tomorrow!!! Live in hope!!

to give some hope .... After mailing with shipsim they told me the game was send on 24th, it arrived today (31th). So sit down, relax with a good SS08 mission, your games are on their ways.

I pre-ordered on the 21st, and still no game. I live in the US, and the weather is pretty great on our eastern boarder.. so I see no reson why I should not have it yet.. I've sent an e-mail asking about my purchase on sunday hoping they would get it monday morning.. yet no reply.. I'm still staring out my window waiting for it.. SSE Please come soon! $:-\$

I have e-mailed Vstep again to say that the game has still not arrived via TNT/Royal Mail. Suggested that they change the order to Download then at least I can get it.

Short translation:
The first link I'm assuring to a Dutch member that VSTEP will refund his purchase from the pre-ordered boxed version, because he bought another download version due to the delay and to make his son happy.
In the second Pjotr from VSTEP is confirming what I wrote and ensures that people who don't recieve their copy today have to email VSTEP first thing tomorrow-morning and they will recive a free of charge download-link.

Alright, here's a heads up.
All you virtual captains that have pre-ordered their game and are still waiting for their boxed copy to arrive, we will give you access to a download copy in the meantime.

Contact us at info@shipsim.com with your ordernumber, full name and address for verification and we will contact you.

This offer only applies to PRE-ORDER Customers (meaning before August 27th) that have not yet received their boxed version due to delivery delay.

Just one thing will Vstep want the box versions sent back or will they cancel the download versions key once we register the box versions key if and when they come or are we going to be allowed to register both? But being allowed a download will be great as it will allow us to at last play the game.

I am now happy, I had pre-ordered the boxed version and not receieved it, emailed vstep less than 30 min ago and I got an email back with a license key and download link. i have got the download version downloading as we speak

EDIT: just had my reply, im downloading it now. im so excited, i finnaly get SSE

at this moment of time i have downloaded 5%, mm that would be annoying if i get it through the post just as it finishes downloading
