Going on the QM2 in Sept on a cruise round the MED for 2 weeks, would be great to see her built for the sim, i will be taking lots of photos and video footage on the cruise so if any of that would be of help should anyone wish to build the model in shipsim then i could send some of it over after the cruise.

Yes, I want to see the Nomadic too, I think she is a important equipment for the Titanic over Atlantic Mission. I wish for the Titanic Mission also steam tugboats in Southhampton and New York.

You can made a Mission with the following points:
starting at Solent area, using steam tugboats to positioning the Titanic for leaving the port.
then first Stop on open Sea (near Cherbouurg) Stop the Titanic. Go side by side with the Nomadic.
Notrh Sea, whatch the Icebergs...
arriving New York....

here are the Nomadic topic:http: www.shipsim.com/ShipSimForum/index.php/topic,225.0.html

Caledonian MacBrayne car ferries!   ;D They've got a great range of fleet from a 22m bow-loading ferry to a 101m RO-RO ferry. I'm not sure if they would allow their vessels on Ship Simulator though.

Also it would be nice if we have small passenger vessels such as the paddle steamer Waverley, Clyde steamers Queen Mary II, Duchess of Hamilton (a very beautiful ship) or King George V, etc.

I Agree

I want ...

- Waverley (has to be in original colours as if just out of the fitting out basin at A&JI of Pointhouse)
- Jupiter / Saturn (rothesay streakers (yes i know...but thats what they were/are called) CalMac)
- Caladonian Isles (brodick - adrossan, calmac)
- DTPS Talisman (DTPS - Disel Turbine Paddle Steamer)
- Hopeton (s.p) (specialist harbour tug based in edinburgh....VERY powerful from what iv heard)

I was hoping she was done for the new sim when i heard southhampton was being modelled, would have been great for the southampton scenerio to Newyork, i guess it would take quite a bit of time to model something like that, and how far do you go on what would be modelled for the walkround feature, something like the titanic in the way of areas you could visit and maybe the engineroom would be good?
Should have some good shots of the real thing after the cruise.

I also think the QMII would be a fine addition to the game-just dont place your bets on getting it through the Panama canal!  :D

thanks, Sky.

I would DEFINATELY be over the moon if the OCEANA of P&O cruises or the VENTURA of P&O cruises was
on the game of Ship simulator 2008 if not that one then definately a shipsim2008 ad-on disc.
Also I think the same for the BARFLEUR of BRITTANY FERRIES. ;D

I'd like to see some coasters from the 50's or 60's, I think they had a beautiful line to them, or an old liner like the dutch willem ruys. :)
