No I wouldn't like to see it.

1st - RCCL will not give VSTEP permission to use logo/ship names content

2nd - It will be so easy to maneuver that I 5 years old kid would even make it

3rd - The bridge will become simple (if not something huge happens to the all over instrumentation in SS in the next years)

4th - when VSTEP have made it another large cruise skip have been built in the real world and people request this instead

5th - I don't get the idea why the worlds largest ships must be in this game. I'll rather look for realism based on other things like ship dynamics, navigation, instrumentation etc.

(my opinion)

i think more passenger ships would make a welcone addition to ship sim othere than the 2 small ferrys we only have 3 passenger ships and only 2 or them are moden

Couldn't agree more!
And if this ship will be added, then people will be asking for another newer better cruiseship.

@Pauljamoy:
there is the POR ferry
the titanic
the ocean star
the red jet 4
the red eagle

Why do you call the Pride of Rotterdam small?
That is a verry big ferry!
The Ocean Star allso is a verry big cruiseship.

You might want to reconsider on that dream. A cruise ship captain's usuall wage is about 20-25$ per hour. Not the best salary or the best life ethier. I am just going to stick with the simulator and just pretend I am a cruise ship captain ;D.

Agreed and it costs too much to become captain. You will probably be 50 by the time you are even up in the ranks. Not a job you get at 18. :P

Thats right. Ranking up is a way of determining how good of an employe you are. You do not get the job as captain*snap*just like that. You need lots of experience while you work on the cruise ship, so that an officer or someone else can see you working in an efficent matter and promote you.

Well i dont want the job because of its pay, i want it because i like the sea and ruise ships. You guys like playing ship simulator, i do to, but for me, i would rather have the real deal. Dont try and stop me. I think Oasis of the Seas wuld also be great in ShipSim, but i did not mention it because its not built yet.

Well I try to keep my fingers crossed that Nvidia will make another monster graphic card the day VSTEP have decided to add Freedom or Oasis to the game. What it will become for me is just pure "eye candy" if I can walk around at the decks inside and outside of the ship. My scientific calculations says that this ship will be added to the game in 2020 :P :P :P At least Nvidia should have something better to show than GTX 280 when year 2020 arives :-\

Also much depending on what environments we can sail and what harbor this game get in 2020.
If ever VSTEP will get permission from RCCL at all to add one or more of their ships I call that a "small revolution" for the game. But I really doubt that it will happen this year or 2009 since it have been posted previously that VSTEP got problems to get real ships into the game and that they have to use fictional content instead. So those who request such ship should just do one thing - get in contact with RCCL and tell them about Ship Simulator :-*

Well by all means, you have every right to do whatever you want. All I am saying is that life will be very hard for you if you choose that carear, meaning hard labor and the fact that you may have a hard time sustaining your life because of the small pay.
