we  went out with our boat "Norðbúgvin" to pick up that other boat home. Wen leaved the harbour at 7 am so It's getting late for me now, lol. I got the boat up to 26 knots and the other around 17, they both look awesome when they are sailing fast. We also fished, but me and my granddad kinda got some issues in the harbour, we had no idea where our berth was :-[
I'll upload the images I got as soon as I have time for that.

I LOVE that boat, Anfinn. MB NORÐBÚGVIN looks a bit like a Colvic/IP, very nice boat indeed!

I work (Mostly) with Princess Yachts, which are similar to the marbella delight but most of them have flybridges.
the company I work at (on work experience) fits aftermarket items such as passerelles and tenders e.t.c. as well as ship repairs.

When a boat is launched i usually help out as a deckhand, so i get little tasters of being at sea. I also occasionally get to drive the company's Zodiac.

In future years, i'd like to be a delivery skipper or a harbour pilot, but i've got to get my Master's Certificate first :captain:

I wouldn't mind owning a boat, does that count?

ps my profile pic is of me on a Princess 21M.

We wen't back out in our boat today, took my cousins from Canada to another island cal Nølsoy. I think we were about 11 people onboard. Got some pics but they are on my phone, but I haven't uploaded them yet, these are taken by someone else.
first up is a nice pic of the boat

these two next are of a beautiful sailboat, or what ever it's called named "Norlýsið" which means Northern Light.

actually not, it's not working right now, but I wouldn't leave the bridge for a nap anyway, since it can get dangerous quite fast if no one is one the bridge.

That is beautiful. I really like lapstrake double enders. What's the length, beam, draft and power?

Hehe, Lots of work!

But I bet it's all worth it, having the enjoyment of being able to go out on the boat. And plus, you get all the enjoyment of Summer with it, and you can work on it in winter. I think half the enjoyment of having a boat is looking after it, too!

lovely boat!

Jack :)
