#2 Terry Russell (800,000 Points)
#3 That fred guy (200 points)

And Agent|Austin's posts tend to be longer than one sentence, pauljanaway1 . (A big hint, there)

Yeah, I know. I'm nagging...  ;)

But seriously, my personal belief is that the number of actual posts is meaningless. I wouldn't have any objections if the count got switched off, given all of the people who seem determined to abuse it (that's my own view, not official policy).

I "rate" people (in my mind) based upon the usefulness and interest generated by their posts. You could post lots of meaningless single sentence messages and end up with a negative rating in my eyes...

an exanple of such a question would be can "i dowload more ships like flight sim" where it is best to give a short but clear answer as they might be new and not understand all the jargon

True.

But one person started a thread today inviting people to make single word posts just to boost the number of posts.

Don't you think that was just really spoiling this for all of the real posters?

Also, several people were/are involved in a competition to boost their post counts by making very short posts that didn't add anythin to this forum. They had a number of tactics for doing this.

Don't you think those people were also letting everyone else down?

But don't worry!

I know exactly who was involved in all of these things, and I will be keeping a close eye on them, to make sure that they don't ruin the enjoyment of everyone else.
