Please help me guys!

I know that is SS 2008 you can move some containers arround and all, and i was wandering if there will ever be  more direfent cranes (forklifts) and if you will be able to unload the whole ship. (that would be very cool).

Oh and could u help me find any game on the internet involving the port crane operations.

Hi Barbossa,

There will most likely not be any more cranes or other loading/unloading equipment in SS2008, and neither will there be the ability to load or unload whole ships. The cargo (un)loading side of things may become much more interesting in future versions of the game, but for SS08, there are no such plans.

I have no knowledge of any game out there that handles this kind of thing, to be honest.

Well, I said "most likely"   

That clip is probably what ended up as the crane operations we now have in the game. An old, pre-release clip.

There are a few more flying around like that, for example the crane operation for the oilrig, but I don't know for a fact if this will be seen in SS08 or in the next version. I am not aware of any immediate plans to include more crane operations.

There have been more things that were "rumoured" to be in SS08, that have yet to be seen. Not everything that is initially planned works out good enough or makes it in.

I would like more of this too, though. Would be nice to inlcude more hands-on cargo handling, for sure.
