To Quote Homer Simpson: WooHoo!! ;D

Ok, here's mine ;)

How many Star Trek Movies have been produced?

Bonus points if you name them all (exactly) ;D

Even more bonus points if you can name the Star Trek era in each of the movies ;)

10!

The original series movies:

Star Trek - The motion picture
Star Trek 2 - The wrath of Kahn
Star Trek 3 - The search for Spock
STar Trek 4 - The Voyage home
Star Trek 5 - The final frontier
STar Trek 6 - The undiscovered country

The Next Generation movies

-Generations
-First Contact
-Insurrection
-Nemesis

And an eleventh movie is expected, to be titled;
Star Trek XI - Star Trek

Announced in 2006 and planned (roughly) for May 2009.
It will be (if they make it) about the first voyage of the Enterprise, with a new cast obviously, but with the characters of TOS.

Wow Fred, I'm impressed.......a true Star Trek fan ;D

I do always like to be fussy though......you know me ;)

Generations actually had elements of both TOS and Next Gen ;)

That new one could do with a new trailer, the last one I saw was like a tiny glimpse ::)

I'm guessing you have all the movies, just like I do ;)

Heh.. yeah ok, I stand corrected on Generations, but well.. I figured that was more TNG than TOS.

And yup, they're all right here on the shelf..   ;)

I'm not too keen on the new movie.. I am no great fan of remakes with different actors. But every now and then they pull it off, so I'll see.  if and when it comes.  ;D

So now for a question then..

Hmm..

Ok this is from another favorite of mine..

Which actor, in which movie, prefers a katana over a chainsaw, when he is looking for a weapon....
(A katana is a samurai sword, for all you lower lifeforms... heheh j/k)

TMNT...  nope..   ;D

Edit: Okay I guess it wasn't that easy after all...  ;D

the question was:
Which actor, in which movie, prefers a katana over a chainsaw, when he is looking for a weapon....

Hint; His character, in the movie, is called "Butch" and he also considered other weapons before picking the katana, including a baseball bat, and if I am not mistaking, a golf club.  ;D

I won't even hazard a guess at that one Fred, I'm one of those (so I'm told "RARE") people who doesn't like Tarantino ;)

Hehe.. ah.. no worries.

I'm not a fan of all his work either, but this one I liked.

Another hint..... Butch, the character in this movie, is a boxer.. and he should have taken a dive, but did not. And thus got into trouble, which eventually lead to the scene I asked a question about.   ::)

Now someone should probably know.
