now is my question how do i get this pictures as my 'avatar'?

To upload an avatar, go to your profile and under "Modify Profile" choose "Forum Profile Information"
Then you can see three ways of getting an avatar. The first is just a collection of default pictures you can choose from, but the second and third option are for a custom one.
You can either use a picture that you found somewhere on the net (a non coyrighted one of course
) or have uploaded somewhere (like photubucket and the likes) - This is the "I have my own pic" option, fill in the correct URL and it should work.
Or you can upload one to the forum directly from your pc. (option: I will upload my own picture)
You just search your pc for a stored picture of your choice, select it, and update your profile with it.
Now, I don't know off the top of my head what size limitations there are, but a full size screenshot might well be way too big to be accepted. And even if it is accepted, you wont be able to make out much details I think.
So also in this case, you could copy the URL that J3nsen has written down and paste it into that second option's box. That should do.
