But maybe there should be an add-on pack for diffrent Lines. One for Cunard, French Italian, etc. That way people could have the bots they want and more. Or to make ie easier on people buying them

Should? And who is going to model all these ships?

Bottom line is people are going to model the ships that interest them, and so they should, IMHO. It's awfully easy to sit back and say "they" should do this or that. Just remember that someone has to do all these things, and that "they" are baling as hard as they can just to keep up with more pressing problems like vessel dynamics.

So:  make it yourself, commission someone else to make it (big bucks!), or accept what comes along!

Cheers,

Michael

Michael - what you said was a bit unappropriate. What was said before was merely an expression of ideas. Albiet, I see your point, I also see his. HOWEVER, it was not meant in a dictorial fashion. We, in the end, do have to take what is produced, however, collaborations can be formed as well as down the road, maybe commissions.

I'd love to see ALL the Cunard queens. (Elizabeth, QE2, QM2, Mary);D

I would love to see the original Queens, ESPECIALLY Queen Elizabeth.

I really think your attitude was just too harsh for just ONE idea. its not like it was the future of shipsim. I just thought of it as a way to keep the ideas collected. And who says shipsim needs 2 make one for every copany? maybe just Cunard or French Line. It was just an idea.

I think that we all should remember that these posts we put on this web site are just suggestions on what vstep should do next. You michel are making it seem like we are demanding that they comply with all our suggestions e.g an addon pack with ocean liners on it, but were not. If vstep wants to take notice of my post and make this addon then yay ;D, but if they dont, so what.

They will take notice, if not already. However, now it is a matter of time and cost analysis before such packs would be produced. These packs would have to be deemed "profitable" before production and marketing were to be put into action.

I would, however, like to assemble a group to make this product in collaboration with VStep. So if a team could be assembled, who knows, projects such as this may become a reality.

I voted OTHERS because I would like to see on an addon for Ship Simulator 2008, the Aquamarina, my favorite Great Lakes cruse liner. :captain:

I find it strange to include the Mauretania, Lusitania and the Aquatinia when they are too similar to the Titanic and would make the ship diversity in the game not very good.
