Yesterday at the Boulevard a event was organised called Aircooled with all kinds of aircooled cars, such as Volkswagens (there were almost 800 VW's)
So for the lovers of Beatles and VW vans:

So, although I'm not legally of age to drive on the road, I am allowed to drive in our field, and here's my beast;

A 1.4L Diesel Rover Metro. Kinda wrecked, it cost my brothers £100 as it was an MOT failure, but is great for driving in our fields, all we have to pay for is the diesel.

It appears that we, in the Netherlands, have a sort of law which approves 17-year olds or older to drive in cars (which then have a special number plate) to drive on the roads without a license under the condition that the car has been modified in such a way that it can only be driven in first gear...  :P

It is a time ago that I posted here so.......

Went yesterday to the Rotterdam City Racing, one of the best days of my life so far.

let's begin with some Bugatti Veyron's  ;D

The fastest taxi in the world a Renault Megane RS with a 3.5 Litre V6 onboard that produces 400HP, can't find a topspeed but that thing was bloody fast (With a very nice engine sound)

Ferrari F430

Ferrari 360

Some cars from the race called The Challenge, they started yesterday, everyday they get a lettre with explaining how to drive to their next destination (they never know their next destination), the only thing that is known is that they are spotted yesterday evening in Paris and that their end destination is Marrakech, Marocco

a nice Rolls Royce Coupé

Don't know the brand of this car anymore (it is American)

Nice Ferrari with wrapped in Men in black style with Will Smith on the side

another Rolls Royce

Lamborghini Gallardo

Aston Martin ....... (All the Astons are looking almost the same)

Brabus G700 (or better known as the Mercedes G63 AMG 6x6)

The idea from the race is to wrap your car as nice and original as possible, well this guy did his homework very good (under the dutch people this clown is very populair)
Porsche 911 with a Bassie and Adriaan wrap (populair child tv program)

Mclaren MP4-12C

No I am not done yet

Burning Rubber, the best smell in the morning

Our new dutch hero Max Verstappen, the youngest Formula 1 driver ever (16 years now, and in next F1 season he will be 17)

Sebastian Buémi

and there he was Max Verstappen in his Toro Rosso (old Red Bull RB8 from 2012)

Tim Coronel and his (broken) Maxxis Dakar buggy

more burning rubber

last chapter then (but I think also the best)

;D Do I need to explain this picture, I think not ;D

I think those Italians never forget the feeling what they got when all these Dutch people came running inside, searching for shelter for the rain.
And offcourse a moment to never forget, almost stepped on the F1 car (oops).

So here are the cars where The Iceman, Kimi Raikkonen gave his demonstration in the streets of Rotterdam.

this picture was made without zooming, so now you know how close we could get

But if I am honestly, I like this trailer more  ;D

The RB8 from Max

Rolls Royce Phantom

Yep it is a official Safety car from the F1, and it is for sale! (125.000 Euros :'( )

a closer look from the Dakar buggy from Tim Coronel

one of the drift cars

also a very nice car the Bugatti Veyron

Going to upload some movies to Youtube, so keep tuned, probably tomorrow they will be online and offcourse I will post a link here
