Haven't played this game since the 2006 version so decided to try outShipSim Extremes.
All installed but I just cannot get it started. I get to the page with play, roaming, etc on it and say for example I want to play Greenpeace, I click it, a picture of the Esperanza appears and that is as far as I can get. Any ideas?

No Dumb questions but this may be a dumb answer; Are you giving it enough time to load? Some missions and even free roaming it seems to take some time to load before the red line starts moving at the bottom.

Also computer specs would be nice to know. You can try to turn everything down to basic settings for your video card. As an example I run everything graphics wise in game on max settings and it is extremely smooth (estimating around 20 FPS). In my graphics card setting anistropic filtering even on the least amount turns it into a slide show(again estimating around 6 or 7FPS).
