Were you perhaps registered under another name when you played multiplayer before? because your current username is new and it has no license key associated with it.

To register your game go into your "profile" at the top of this page and enter the license key of the product.

Something fishy here!  You say you used to play multiplayer so therefore you must have had a registration key that was logged here on the forum.  Unless for some reason (ie you sell the game) you d-registered the game, it cannot be lost as it is held on vsteps servers.

I read somewhere that a copy of the license key can can be found in the crack folder - whatever that is.

before I bought the boxed version. if buy now on shipsim.com download version of the license key is there or not?
