New tug controls help please
« on: June 15, 2013, 13:37:23 »

Good day, can someone please tell me how to operate the controls of the new (at least to me) tugs.  There are two controls with circular spaces about each.  How do they work?  When I do eventually get going, I keep on going in the wrong direction.  Help! Cheers. Brian.

Hi Brian,

http://forum.shipsim.com/index.php/topic,2886.msg28895.html#msg28895

Check the file at the bottom:- Controlling Azimuth drives. There you will find the full details on controlling "Bugsier 2", as well as "Jumbo Javelin" & "Ocean Star".

Regards,
Angus.

Hi Guys, thank you so much for your help.  Now hopefully the other ships will not give me such a wide berth!

By the way, in the registration process I came across a questionaire about what I would like to see in Terms of harbours, type of vessel etc.  One of the items I mentioned was a sailing vessel.  Do you know of any sailing simulators?  Cheers. Brian

Hi Brian,
There is an Excellent sailing simulator called "Sail Simulator 5", produced by A Dutch company called Stentec.
This is about sailing dinghies and large racing yachts as well as cruising yachts. There is a multiplayer ability in which you may race with other players over the internet.

Regards,
Angus.

If you want a good sailing simulator try Virtual Skipper 5. http://www.virtualskipper.com/
