Hi all,
as you may know the famous ship database
faktaomfartyg.se has been closed down. It was my favourite website of this kind and by far the most comprehensive and reliable.
Because I think the internet needs a free ship database like FoF was, I had the idea to start a project building up a similar website but with todays possibilities. Our database will be a community project made by and for ship enthusiasts.
At the moment the page is in early development, but we need your help from now on. I know there are many ship lovers on this forum so I hope some of you want to help building up this new database. All we need for now are your ideas and thoughts of how the new site should look. Therefore I have set up a forum where all we "ship-freaks" can meet and discuss how we want to create the website.
Later on we need many users to create the database and keep it up to date.
