ferry pack error

Hello,

I had buy the ferry pack, but when i will install it he gives an error in the install. This is the Error, please can any body help me, how I must install it?

First of all, register both the keys (Ferry Pack and SSE) into your profile. Second, did you buy the Ferry Pack from Steam? Since you have a Steam SSE copy you have to buy it on Steam. If it's non-Steam, you must buy it from the official site.

Yes i had both it on www.shipsim.com That is the official website.
But where can i register my license keys?

Then how can the error say you have a Steam copy of SSE? So you must have it from Steam.

I had download it from this website, the official from shipsim game: http://www.shipsim.com/products/shipsimulatorextremesferry

What is the different, because I had pay for 15 euro the ferry pack from the official site, and it don't work...

What is exactly steam?

Steam is another website where you can purchase and down load SSE and the Ferry Pack from. See link below.

As you say you have bought both from www.shipsim.com, then that message should not come.

Right-click on the icon that starts the Ship Simulator Extremes game.
Click on Properties.
Please tell us the exact contents of the Start in: box.

Hello Martin,

Where did you buy Ship Simulator Extremes from - www.shipsim.com  OR through Steam ??

There is some difference when you buy from Steam when it comes to installation. If you have bought SSE from Steam then you HAVE TO buy the Ferry Pack from Steam too !!!

From the screen shot you have posted, it looks like you have bought SSE from Steam.

I had bought it in the shop in my city.... Not on internet.
Firstly I don't now what was Steam....
But now I know what is Steam, it mean that i must again the ferry pack?

Hello Martin,

Yes, I think you have the Steam version of SSE. Even if you have bought a DVD from a shop it has to be installed through Steam. Only DVDs bought directly from www.shipsim.com do not require Steam.

You can contact www.shipsim.com and try to get a refund. I am not sure if they will do it as it clearly says there that the Ferry Pack is for the "Non Steam version".

hi guys i have the same problem....i bought the game from a store and as i know if i bought it from store the version is the steam version but i also bought from there the ferry pack nut it wasn't saying that it was for the non steam version what i should do now.. i mean i paid 15 euros for nothing?

Well yes you did, I will never gonna work. You might do what vin_sun says and contact and explain it at www.shipsim.com . Steam and non-steam work don't work together. (steam SSE and non-steam DLC)
Next time first look for what version it is!  ;D
