Hard to believe but we still have this steam powered train in service in India. It takes people to a hill station called Darjeeling and is fondly know as the "Toy Train"

The double deck rail carriage was first operated in Britain. A Bulleid design. Although having seen one in a museum it certainly isn't to the same modern standard as the Indian one shown.

ISTR that under Indian law (I don't know of Pakistan and Bangladesh) but there was not supposed to be any charge for passengers travelling on the roof anyway.

Given the price of worst great western here, I might perhaps ask them if I can travel cheaper if I sit on the roof (just forget the low roof clearance of the IKB tunnel!)

We have a train in India called the 'Palace on Wheels'. It's more for wealthy tourists and it travels to places of historical interest.

What do you guys think about Trainz Simulator 12. I think its a nice simulator. In the past I did not like simulator games, but resently I can not wait to get home from work just to turn on my PC and start with one of the simulator games.

Trainz Simulator 12 is a dying game unless they will make it with a new ( and gnarly ) engine
