About the Greek crisis, I heard of a nice solution recently..
Instead of pouring money down the Greek drain, and fat rich Greeks transferring it to their Swiss bank-accounts,
why not offer all Europeans a free holiday to Greece?  All expenses paid of course.. ;)

Last night I happened to be watching a German TV-show called "Wetten Dass", a show of various bets.
In it, a guy had 4 minutes to solve a Rubiks cube puzzle, the last bit he did while submerged underwater holding his breath in a large watertank and blindfolded
Quite amazing.. :)

If one is interested in having a close encounter with the Titanic, (and if one has some extra cash), there is a company that is organizing two dive expeditions next year..

Since they are going down in a Russian MIR submersible, the question of experience is irrelevant.
The Russians have been sending tourists down for years—since Bob Ballard first found Titanic. Considerable damage has been done over the years by landing the MIRs on the fragile, corroding, hulk.

i guess ure right... technology has improved greatly since ballard first explored the wreck.

how much will it cost to go down there? i would love to. ;D

ears must pop like mad though. :P

its bad enough in Soudan Underground Mine, a retired iron mine and neutrino lab on Lake Vermillion. huge elevator takes you down 36,000 feet below sea level. elevator goes 50mph (still takes quite a while to get down there) and ears go "BOOM"

please stop me before i keep reminecsing. ::) :P

Why would one’s ears pop?
You are simply Spam in a can—hermetically sealed in inside a steel or titanium sphere. If the air pressure changes, then you have a problem.

The Volvo Ocean Race 2011-2012 is underway, and I just found that the site has a very nice 3D-viewer.
Go to their site and launch the 3D Interactive Race Viewer..  Enjoy..:)
