Hi critchlow,

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but with a 1.6GHz processor you have little chance of running SSE.
The specified minimum required speed is 3.0GHz, although an i7 or i5 with 2.6 GHz will do, especially if Turbo Boost is enabled and there is sufficient thermal headroom.
Your graphics processor and RAM are also far from adequate.
Others may advise you on alternatives.

Regards,
Marty

I have installed Ship Simulator 2008 - Collectors Edition on my Windows 7 PC.  It seems to install ok, but when I go to run it it says "Active Movie Window - The program cant start because MagCore.dll is missing from your computer".  Any ideas how I can fix this?  Thanks

Oh there's a weee trick to this, I had this problem when I Installed a game called Submarine Titans but later on I found out It is not compatible with Windows 7, but all you have to do is download the missing .dll file from the net and pop it in to your system32 folder

Go over here, it has the file and it should solve it http://www.down-dll.com/index.php?file-download=magcore.dll&dsc=MagCore

Hi Vinod,

In the US, at least, 555 is a non-existent office that is used in movies, TV, etc. for any fictional telephone number.
Had I used a real number, yes, there would have been many calls.
This very old thread is an example of the gullibility of some people:

Yes, he did send me his mailing address—which was in Southern California.

Regards,
Marty
