Hi Taylor & agekiel,

The presence of a non-existent Player ship in a mission will prevent that mission from appearing in the game mission list.
However, that should not prevent campaigns from being listedâ€”minus the missions with missing Player ships.
The problem with Albatross IV disappearing has also been seen in the version direct from VSTEP, so this is not strictly a STEAM problem.

Hallo,
So, Steam updated my ferry pack.
Theres already no Albatross and no missions but i have the Ferry campaign now.

The Albatross doesnt work $:-\$ !!!

But why the version on the website is good. But not on steam. Did they solved the problem, but not send that to Steam?? $:-\$

I have just posted this on the problem forum. I also have no Albatross IV in a version after downloading it from steam. Does anyone know how VSTEP plan to fix this?

As I said in the part that you quoted: At least one user of the VSTEP version had Albatross IV disappear from his installation. I observed the same thing in the GM Beta.

There seems to be some problem with Albatross through Steam. Frank Vstep has posted about this elsewhere and I quote him

Ryan ... I wish I could help. My Ferry pack is from shipsim.com as is all my other SS products. I am not familiar with the Steam versions. All I can say is that Vstep and Steam may work on this and hopefully the problem will be resolved at the earliest.

One thing that might play some part in the problem is that Albatross IV is still called Coromuel in some instancesâ€”at least in the GM Beta.

Her folder in Entities > Ships is â€œCoromuelâ€, and she appears as Coromuel in the Mission Editor list of Player ships.
Normally, this is not a problemâ€”she appears in the free roam list as Albatross IV even though removing the Coromuel folder removes her.
Missions made with Coromuel as the player ship are accepted by the game.

Occasionally, though, something goes wrong. It is as if she loses her newly acquired bridge. Similarly, Bangalore is listed in the editor as a player ship, but lacks a functioning bridgeâ€”missions using her as a player ship canâ€™t run.
