Yeah Hollywood has a LOT too answer for...

There are so many Disaster Films that seem "real"

2012 was quite impressive...

the neutrinos are heating up the Earths Core...  ::)

Neutrinos are massless particles which react with nothing...  :doh:

People are far to gullible nowadays, someone pops up on the internet 'aahh the world will end', no it wont, remember with the large hydron collider or what ever? and everyone got their knickers in a twist over a black hole, did it happen? no.

Face it, its next thing thats going to happen is in a couple hundren years time when the sun gives up the ghost

I know the world won't end in 2012, and I have a feeling about the same crap for a giant meteor, but I'm still thinking of how horrible it would be to be smashed by a shipwreck...

Which makes me wonder about Hollywood. I never heard of the 2012 apocalypse until after people watched it... Hollywood villifies everything.  :-\

i believe that there is going to be an earthquake somewhere on the west coast of North America. The Cascade  and San Andreas fault has been inactive for many years and are overdue for a big one. But its very slim it will happen tomorrow.

You can predict earthquakes to a extent, Before a boundry gives in it gets the "gitters" and starts making lots of really small quakes in a short space of time, So you can tell theres going to be a quake, and you can tell its going to be soon, you just don't know how soon, and thats the real issue.

i have an app for the IPod Touch and it tells me where and when the earthquakes happen. I get notifications. Ive been getting them mostly on the West coast of California and a few in Alaska. I believe one will happen soon but not in the 19-26 time period.
